Andrew’s 2017 published legal thesis, “Gotta Catch…A Lawsuit?” helped pioneer and explore the early legal challenges emerging from mobile augmented reality gaming in response to the 2016 release of “Pokémon Go” for iOS and Android. This legal analysis has led to recognition from Harvard, Purdue, UPenn, Deloitte, and The Herjavec Group.

With nine years of experience in cyber law and news media journalism, Andrew offers highly-tailored legal and brand media strategies, helping clients confidently navigate intimidating digital matters.

His work includes removing damaging online content, conducting online investigations, addressing cyberbullying, protecting online privacy, and improving SEO.

Andrew advocates for the harmonious coexistence of law and digital culture, educating clients and consumers on establishing and maintaining an intentional digital footprint.

Andrew has shaped cybersecurity legislation in Ohio through The CyberOhio Initiative under (now) Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and was the youngest member of the legislative committee. He also, by invitation of The White House, welcomed Air Force One at Wright Patterson Air Force Base following the 2019 Oregon District mass shooting in Dayton, Ohio.

Andrew is an adjunct law professor at The University of Dayton School of Law and a guest lecturer at The University of Texas in Austin and The Federal Bar Association.

He is also the founder and CEO of AR Media Consulting, a brand impact consulting firm located in Austin, Texas, offering a boutique array of business and media related services to individuals, businesses, consumer brands, and celebrity talent in helping them curate an intentional, impactful digital footprint spanning a multitude of industries. These services include brand/media audits, go-to-market strategies, public relations, and ORM.

Andrew lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife and three cats: Simba, Nala, and Bailey the Bengal. In his free time, he enjoys sketching, hiking in national parks, expanding his vinyl collection, and visiting the beach.
